Google Photos Launch Campaign
When Google Photos split off from the Google+ family and became it's own app, my team worked with the marketing and product teams to develop the launch campaign. My role included campaign ideation, tagline development, and a focus on social and partnerships.
The campaign was built around the new Search feature, which allows users to call up the right photo at the right time, without the endless scrolling. Creative revolved around scenarios in which people used Google Photos to tell funny stories using their photos and "Remember that one time."
Buzzfeed and Social Campaign
Buzzfeed ran with the "Remember That One Time" idea in a series of videos. I helped develop a social campaign around these videos (coming soon -- mock is on the right). I also worked with my partner to develop educational and fun brand social content across Twitter, Instagram and Google+.
Google Photos Social Channel Content
I also helped concept and write content for the Google Photos Twitter account. The pieces below were part of the light, drumbeat content that bridged the gap between the brand launch campaign and the next big Google Photos campaign, #EasyThrowback. We created these tongue-in-cheek "infauxgraphics" to highlight the app's search feature tie into cultural trends and events.
